Happy Hockey New Year and lots of ways you can support the club

Our club has grown a lot over the years, particularly in our junior section.  We regularly enter
multiple teams for U10, U12 and U14 festivals, have two indoor and two outdoor men's
teams and a thriving ladies’ team. 

All that is possible thanks to volunteers and the support through sponsorship of local
businesses and individuals.

We are asking you to take a few minutes to consider whether there is anything you can do to
help us.  Thank you in advance for doing this. 

Here are a few ways you might be able to help:
* Coaching - have you coached before or are looking to learn some new skills?  Come along and help. (A PVG check will be necessary before working with our young people but this is easily arranged)
* Umpiring - have you umpired before or are keen to learn?  Umpires are key to match play and a valuable asset for every club.  We can train you, so don't worry if you don't know all the rules.
* Fundraising – Do you have any experience of fundraising or any ideas of how to we can do more of this? Any input would be most welcome.
* Social committee - Social activities are valuable for promoting team and club spirit and bonding. Could you help us to arrange these from time to time to for our juniors, families,
and adults?
* Sponsor the club - do you know a local business or individual that might be able to
sponsor a match ball, player, team, junior award or our club and school link programme?
