A bright start from Harris saw them score four goals in the first quarter. Simon Huggon rounded the GM keeper and flicked into the net after 4 minutes and two minutes later Alfie Ackerley put Harris two ahead from an Austen Brunton assist. Simon scored his second after 11 minutes and captain Grant McInroy made it four for Harris a minute before the end of the first quarter. The second and third quarters produced no goals. In the final quarter Steven Moir slid in for a deflected goal after 48 minutes and Simon completed his hat trick when he first timed a clearance past the home keeper. GM scored with two minutes to go and in the final minute Duncan McNicoll made a penalty save and a great close range block to deny the home team.
