A good number of young players in the squad today, and they were up to the serious challenge presented by some experienced opposition players. Some early chances in the first period for Harris, before the game became a battle in the midfield. Towards the end of the match, Harris created a number of chances to open the scoring, with opportunities falling th Matthew Ogg, Ross Dyer and Jack Tasker. We were unable to covert these, and it took a short corner from our Opponents to break the deadlock, and go one up. Harris secured a short corner as the clock turned red, and only a superb save from their keeper prevented a draw. A good performance from our young players (in partic Jack, Matthew, Angus, and James) and some fantastic hard work from Alfie Ackerly who worked tirelessly today. Towards the end in particular we were beginning to string the passes together and get more into the opposition D. Thanks everyone, see you at the next one.
